Try this “power” trick in Firefox to make it browse pages much Faster than before!!....
1. In the Address bar write:
about:config
(and then hit enter)
2. If You're Dial Up User (say, below 25kbps), Skip to step 3, Else:
Scroll down and look for the following entries and Alter them:
Set “network.http.pipelining” to “true”
Set “network.http.proxy.pipelining” to “true”
Set “network.http.pipelining.maxrequests” to some number like 8. This means it will make 8 requests at once.
(Try different values 2-8 and choose whichever suites you best. Recommended 8, max)
(How It Works: Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading.)
3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer.
Name it “nglayout.initialpaint.delay” and set its value to “0″.
(How It Works: This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives.)
(Recommended Settings for Dial up users: Try number between 50 to 150, if you usually browse pictures as well. Still don't get? Visit)
